Tuck Me In
This Saturday we did another fantastic social-distancing Sketch Cram! It’s such an insane day, especially since now most of my days are languorous, slow, and completely on my own schedule. A full day of pitch meeting, writing scenes, table reads, more pitching and table reads, then getting ready for our hosting bits is the most excitement I have right now! Writing is definitely a little easier than directing- that editing at 10PM is TOUGH. I was so happy that Kami Dimitrova made my sketch and did all that difficult work! I think this sketch came out so sweet and fun. I’ve been thinking a lot about how I don’t feel too funny much anymore, or my instincts are to go a little sarcastic and sharp. But I wondered if I could make something innocent and uplifting instead, and this was the result! Kami completely got what I was going for, and I’m so thankful to Lida, Dustin, Lane, Brian, and Nicole for the perfect performances! Tuck tuck tuck! This was written and made in ONE DAY!!!
